Was going through the archival slides before the slide scanner decided to be a little bitch, thereby requiring me to send it on to a new home. Need to resume. Anyway, my mother near Urubamba, Peru ("flat valley full of spiders" in quechua) 1966:

Wow, what a photo. humanodon is right, her clothing seems perfect for the surroundings, even her skin color. Great shot. I visited near Urubamba while I was there and saw the Urubamba river too. It had recently been flooded and there was a ton of debris in the the trees around the river and in the river itself. Peoples clothing, children's toys etc all floating around in the trees beside the Urubamba River. -Wish I had photos, it was quite a site.
