Still listening to Amon Tobin... Bloodstone
I love Amon Tobin. He is one of the few artists that I'll willingly watch recorded performances of because of how incredible of an experience it looks to be.
I saw his ISAM tour a year or two ago (why can't I remember when?...). By far the most amazing live show I have ever experienced. I still watch clips of it from time to time. I'm wondering if and how he will be able to out-do himself with whatever he comes up with next.
That BINBEATS video is sweet. Talent fella, making some kick ass sounds/beats in unusual ways. Glad I watched that, thanks.
Yeah, BINKBEATS is extremely talented. All of the videos he's made are attempts at taking apart music produced electronically and performing it live with real instruments. Hopefully he creates a trend that sticks -- I think it spells something very interesting for the "future of music" as far as augmenting it further electronically goes.
Cool concept, I'm not familiar with the original version of that song. How similar does it sound?
