No argument here. Orlando sucks. Doesn't look like the Wings are scheduled to play in Raleigh again.
Mines #75. Stamford, CT. I agree and disagree with it, depending on where you live in the city. Everything is pretty expensive, and the education is pretty bad, coming from someone who grew up there. None of these rankings for any of the categories really fits, unless the rest of the U.S. is a lot worse than I could possibly imagine.
any place in western europe is better than any city in america
#66 Saint Paul, Minnesota. Figured there would be more, normally there's a few cities in the twin cities metro that make these lists. Minnesota had like 6 cities in the top 30 on the Forbes list.
Control-F, "oklahoma" : yep, that's what I figured. Paraphrased one-liner that I stole from some comedian (Drew Carey maybe?) - "I'm from Oklahoma - it was a long time before I realized we were free to leave".
HA. And leave you did. You went to perhaps one of the most exotic and beautiful places on the face of the planet... that speaks english.
Yup, #44 (Santa Monica). Beautiful and fun place to live, close to the ocean and a lot of great city life, but you pay for it as the cost of living is pretty high. But search for "90403" on https://www.crimereports.com/ and you'll notice that there's this bubble of safety surrounding Santa Monica where very little crime happens in comparison to the rest of Los Angeles, yet you can take a short trip to any other parts of the city easily if you want.
#12. Not too surprising. Bellevue is a pretty great city (although rather bland, but Seattle is just across the bridge), our public schools are ranked pretty high and it's overall a very wealthy city. We have Bungie and Valve, and Microsoft isn't headquartered here, but they do have an office building in downtown. Great place for engineers and game design as well as music. Although I'm a bit surprised at the "demographics" rating. In my opinion we're as white as it gets. But I guess there are a fair amount of Middle Eastern, Indian and Asian people.
