I'd guess so, unless "functional" is defined in an arcane way. That seems like a pain in the ass. They would be better off getting a rubber raft.

You said this and I was like giant mental palm to the forehead. "Functional" does mean "able to use," after all. I think I was concerned about how supportive the resin would be - I'd be worried it would break. But I know very little about resin at all tbh.

:) I don't know shit about resins either. I'd think that a big 3d printer would be better for printing a canoe, but what do I know?

I bet if I had one of these I'd just use it to print toothpicks or something.
