I saw Joe Bonamassa in concert one time with my dad. He's a great guitar player, but something just felt, I don't know, disingenuous about the show. It had the sound of the blues, for sure, but it lacked the spirit of the blues.

I've been into classical and piano music lately.

I use Pocket (I think it used to be called Read It Later) to save interesting things I find or want to read later. If you create an account, you can link it between devices (phones, laptops, etc.)

I have the app installed in my browser (Chromium) as well as on my phone (Galaxy S4). So if I'm on my phone and find a long but interesting article that I would rather read on a full sized screen, I can save it to Pocket on my phone, then open up the app in my browser and go to the site from there.

It also supports tagging pages so it's easier to find in the future.

I don't like the idea of having a 3rd party store all of the sites I'm interested in though, so that's one downside. But other than that it's great.

That is a great idea for an extension. I just ignore Upworthy links all together.

Complexity used the word parody, which reminded me that my friend showed me this.

A bit from my recent 90's kick:

Mazzy Star - She's My Baby (I would've linked to the video, but the sound quality was pretty bad)

Pavement - Gold Soundz

Tortoise - Swung From the Gutters

Plus the new Mogwai album, "Rave Tapes". I don't think it's quite as good as their last one "Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will", but it's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of theirs.

I know at the end of February the new Beck album is going to make an appearance. Apparently it's reminiscent of "Sea Change", which is one of my favorites.

I agree with Loogawa's analysis of the test. I love museums and the theater, I also hate parties full of strangers, but love ones full of friends. Almost everything with tests like these just depend on your mood at any given time.

I scored a 40.

I searched for that announcement that was made a while back about the mobile beta. I thought it was m.hubski.com. Seems I put the m on the wrong side. Thanks.

Some of my favorite ones are:

Todoist - to do list app, good interface with reminders and things. The paid version is like $30/year so I've just stuck with the free one for now.

Pocket Casts - I don't know is you listen to podcasts but this is a great app for finding, downloading and listening to them. I think I paid $3 or so for it.

Simple Rockets - not a utility app but a great game where you build and fly rockets. It's like a 2D Kernan Space Program. The developer seems like a good guy too, a few months ago he gave out all of his games for free.

If I think of some more I'll add them.

I've read that task killing apps on Android are unnecessary as the OS itself will auto-kill your least recently used applications when it needs more space.

I have an S4 and if I want to kill an app, or all of them, manually you can pass and hold the home button for a second or two until the recently used app screen appears.

Then in the bottom left there is a button to go to the task manager. From the task manager you can see all running applications and processes, and are given the option to kill them individually or all of them together.

Sorry if that wasn't quite clear, I'm typing this on my phone and Husky is kind of a pain in mobile for me.

#culture is definitely a good tag for this. Words weren't coming to me at the time, thanks.
