Oh no! I was so busy making "Blueberry Pie So Easy It Should Be Called Yo' Mama" that I completely forgot to make the cookies and the economical fruit cake! Tell you what, I'm supposed to be having a wingding in a few weeks, I'll try the recipes out on my unsuspecting guests. It'll be a way of scaring away the ones we don't have room for.

Things to be heard at StJohn's "wingding": It's fruity, and it's cake... but is it economical? and I'll never eat a macaroon again.

Hey, someone needs to keep me honest. Besides, you can't have too many baked goods, even if they are only as good as macaroons.
What's more likely to be overheard at my wingding: "Yup, these things have reaaaaally gone down-market. I'm only here because he promised there'd be cake."
