Wiki tells you what it is. It doesn't tell you why it matters. I would think you of all people could expound usefully on why our Utopian paradise might run into a hitch or two considering that the maps everyone uses to get everywhere are proprietary, locked down and subject to corporate shenanigans.

I meant it more in the sense that the story of OSM is very similar to that of Wikipedia, and that the differences have been covered by other blogs & outlets.Wiki tells you what it is. It doesn't tell you why it matters.
