Both of you might consider checking out an article that tallon posted a while back titled, A Message To Women From A man: You Are Not Crazy. It was the first time I had heard the phrase "gaslighting," which they mention in this article too.
This is a great read and thanks for sharing. I'd heard of gaslighting before, and I find that this text makes certain sweeping generalizations - but at the same time, if you are writing an open letter to approximately half of the world, you kind of have to make sweeping generalizations.
