A friend of mine taught English in S. Korea and ultimately got kicked out of the country. I wish I could recall the details.
I know a lot of people who did this. Recently two of my friends came back from S. Korea. They were there a full year, had a blast. Had more fun in Thailand though, where they spent 2 months before they came home. I have a friend who is in China right now teaching english.
