Something about it reminds me a little bit of Bonnie Prince Billie. Your voice has got a great timbre to it, and the phrasing is expressive in a really great way. Sounding good! What's your recording setup, by the way?

Protools, Mbox, Audio Technica condensor mic and an SM-58. Pretty straight forward. I have guitars/drums/percussion instruments etc. But it's nothing too fancy, literally just a furnace room with a work-bench.

It's all in the mic and the mic placement. But most people feel like the other guys sound is cleaner. My friend records with Garage Band and I feel like his stuff sounds WAY cleaner than mine. He's also just a more detail oriented musician. -That helps.
