I am very curious as to what kind of a story the Hubski community can tell if we were, as a community, to write a story. The basic idea is for members to write a paragraph or two to expand the story based on what has already been written.
I will start with the first comment.

Wednesday, October 12, 2011. A typical gorgeous October San Francisco afternoon. Sunshine and blue skies for as far as the eyes can see. Could not have picked a better day to meet up with a new online friend from Hubski.com to take part in OccupySF.

I was a bit nervous to meet sounds_sound, but his posts were always interesting, and his comments seemed friendly enough. I didn't take much: my phone, my wallet, and of course, my clockwork bird.

"Nice bird, does he bite?" I said. The ice was beginning to crack amongst the circle of loose affiliates. "Yeah, thenewgreen will be here." He's coming from that anxious place we've all know lately but hate to bring up at dinner parties. "Here he comes now!" thenewgreen cuts through the crowd of 50 somethings in their white socks and brown sandles. He walks over, plants his sign into the ground and says "Hi". I could hear Kraftwerk's Autobahn coming from his headphones, like he was getting prepared for a long ride into the night. Still, I can't quite make out what he's chosen to write as words of protest. I only expect it to be as clever and pithy as his Hubski posts might suggest.

Thenewgreen appeared out of breath, he reached in to his pocket and stilled the sound coming from his ear buds. He had clearly been running. He wiped the sweat from his handsome brow, looked up at his fellow Hubskiers and said, "Hey guys, sorry I'm late I was at another rally calling for the abolition of teachers unions with cgod. He should be here soon, when I left he was spitting on the people in front of him for talking too loud during the protest....dude's intense". Then thenewgreen held up his protest sign. It was a giant QR code on a 3 foot post, sounds_sound held up his phone to find out where the QR led.... All that showed up on his screen was a photo of C. Thomas Howell from the movie Soul Man. "It's a metaphor", is all thenewgreen said. Just then cgod showed up with a giant shit-eating grin on his face, knuckles bloodied holding a big plate of.....

"Holy mother of sea urchins!! I've never seen such a massive plate of uni," I exclaimed as I started stuffing myself with the nectar of Ryƫjin. "So who else is coming?"

"I guess that is all of us. Let's head on out to Justin Herman Plaza and let our voices be heard."
