I get what you're saying. Here's a thought, feel free to completely ignore it:
I mostly follow the most active users (and people I know personally) I notice that you're following 13 people. I, for example, am following 130 and I know a dude on here currently following 201. I follow a lot because I, personally, don't have any problem with unfollowing people either. I give'em, say, three strikes then their out. It's kind of like how I treat the people I meet in real life. If I hang out with someone and they continue to be a twatwaffle after a third meet - peace out.
I realize my strategy might not scale well with the interface at the moment, and as we all know if it doesn't scale, it doesn't matter. I just don't think the site is there yet, myself.
I want a place where I can discover popular posts by people I'm NOT followingThe popular button does have people I'm not following in it. If your 'popular' feed and you user feed are the same, then maybe you're following all the right dudes so far, and maybe Hubski is still too small compared to what you might be used to.
