More dutchies? I knew of 2 other than me, now I know of 3.

If I may ask, where do you study? And what exactly is the "experimental space equipment field"?

And now I know one dutchy as well! The bastion of Europe it seems we are, since I've mostly americans.. I study applied physics in Eindhoven at the TU\e. Experimental space equipment isn't really a field, but I am really interested in ion engines, deep space communication, energy supply etc. I actually like a lot of fields, but I think this embraces most! Do you study as well?

My guess of experimental space equipment would be new space equipment then? Since you study at the TU/e, that would be the most logical thing. Ion engines and the like sound pretty awesome.

I also study in Eindhoven. Electrical engineering is what I do. From computers to electrical engines to power grids. Also great fun.

EDIT: We aren't the only ones from Europe. There are some others, but indeed, mostly Americans and Canadians here.

Are you a member of one of the student associations? Quite the coincidence that one of the few dutchies on here happen to study at the same university! Electrical engineering sounds like fun, but I wanted to study something 'broader', like physics!

Nope, I am not active at one of the student associations. I figured that those would cost too much time with too little gain. (and really, you only want to join in your first year)

Physics is also really interesting, but I think I wouldn't be able to handle it.
