MSNBC are shills for the Dems and FoxNews are shills for the GOP. They are targteing specific viewers with a specific message. No honest person could suggest otherwise. It's absurd that this is even presented as something debateable.
Fox News are shills, but MSMBC are apologists; there's a big difference. Apologists argue for a position, sometimes without merit, whereas shills actively coordinate. Fox News has done things such as actually read the mornings talking points memo from the GOP on air. MSNBC, so far as I know, doesn't coordinate with the party bosses when producing programming.
I would be more interested to see a study of the Networks coverage in the last week of the election. ABC, NBC, CBS. These are supposed to be the unbiased, right? I've not watched any of them in years so I'm not sure how balanced their coverage is these days.
