I love music and sound, and it pleases me in countless different ways. Right there at the top is harmonic sound. I remember working in the basement of our country jail as a teen, and they had these massive generators humming low. When I would hum as I walked past, it resonated perfectly harmonically and it was awesome. I derived a slightly absurd amount of pleasure from that I think. Couldn't walk past them without humming along.
touché. although in this case I was actually reminiscing about the Saunders brothers who taught me this trick. I imagine the neighbors thought we were nuts - three boys standing in a baseball diamond, in the middle of the day, in Pontiac, Michigan screaming at oscillating frequencies. My kids don't seem to have the vocal control yet... they're working on it, but mostly it's just a whine in unison...
