I dunno man that looks like the system being successful to me. You read the criminal bulletin?

Drone pilot discharged for schizophrenia who goes off his meds, has a gun, calls the sheriff's office and complains that the "3 stones" attacked him while overseas, mentions he's got a gun that he won't use on himself but will absolutely use on others, cops put him under surveillance and wrap him up as soon as they have a justification.

It is understandably hard to use mental health as an excuse to abrogate someone's rights. They need to be a demonstrable threat to the health and safety of themselves or others before you can even put them in front of a magistrate. Take away their guns? Mmmmyeah that almost never happens before they use them.

I am right there with John Oliver and the rest of the media watchdogs about stochastic terrorism

But the terrible heinous broken system seems to have mostly worked with this one.

Agree, I was actually impressed with how law enforcement handled this one.

I'm cautiously hopeful that without Trump and his DHS flunkies insisting that antifa and BLM are the only violent threats facing America, white supremacists will better be kept in check.

Yup. Brings to mind a previous instance that hit even closer to home (BHS GED right hurrrr), but law enforcement still did well-ish, in the end.
