I paid $.39 a gallon two days ago in the Metro Detroit Area Kroger Grocery/Gas Station. Under $7 to fill my minivan. Starting price $1.29/gal and then I had a $.90/gal at the pump discount from my Kroger Grocery store that I hadn't redeemed in six weeks or more. I recognize that the taxes in Netherlands are a drag, but l gotta wonder how much less a crisis our U.S. Covid-19 issue would have been if folks here would be willing to pay the necessary taxes for the infrastructure, (hospital capacity, safety gear, ventilators) that would have made this situation more manageable. Gotta figure that a better compromise is available. Sweet deal on the gas tank that I may not refill again until June as I'm going almost nowhere. Whoop-dee-do.
