I'm shutting down after today.

I'm going to open for a few hours tomorrow and give away milk, coffee and whatever other perishables I have left.

It's really bugging the shit out of me. Four years of 363 days a year and I'm just going to go home.

I hope to get some yard work done.

I think it's the right choice, but that hurts. I suppose with a pass-through window maybe you could do something... but pass-through window coffee probably isn't worth the effort. It's only a fraction of what you were providing anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that, man.

It seems like we will be living in the same world we were in time, but it just seems that way. Some things will probably be different, and I bet we couldn't guess them all if we tried.

I guess it depends on your numbers. If you aren’t making enough to stay open then shut down obviously but if you are still making enough I think you should just stay open and just have a counter window. People whose were gonna go out for coffee will just go elsewhere and if you practice good sanitary practices it’s more of a harm reduction thing. This thing is gonna last months so if you start too early it’s gonna be tough to last out the whole thing. Also maybe look at this as a way to offer personalized services to those around you. Maybe coffee and pastry delivery every morning or something just to keep the cash flowing In a bit.
