I've got to say, as much as I enjoyed the writing, it was the absolutely stunning visuals that made this so compelling for me. The use of parallax scrolling transitions was masterful, and the photography was stunning!

Stuff very occasionally puts out nice articles like this. Too often they're just... awful... But this is a nice change. It's bang on too, I visit Christchurch every year at least once to see my family and while it's saddening to see entire areas devoid of humans, it's also incredibly impressive that the land will just be reclaimed by nature.
