Sorry you're subject to his fuckery. I hope you find a way to register. It's terrible the way these Republicans are systematically gnawing away at all the supports of democracy, trying to get the whole system to fall permanently to them. There's nothing they won't stoop to. It drives me nuts just observing from outside the USA, but it must be so much worse to be directly on the receiving end. May all you decent Americans win your country back from these crooks, soon.
If this guy is right I may not have to worry. About myself. The election on the other hand... https://twitter.com/gin_and_tacos/status/1050140135797477377?s=21
Yeah, I moved three hours, still within Texas, and attempted to re-register by mail in my new county. Sent it in three weeks ago, and it hasn't been processed yet. Neither has my girlfriend's, we sent ours off together. Getting really nervous. Beto needs these two votes. Good luck to you, bro. At least in my situation, I think good ol' negligence is to blame. Edit: How's the weather?
I think you made it. Yeah we had somewhere around 100 tornado warnings for Harris county (Houston) on a single day during Harvey. There's already rotation from hurricanes embedded in the atmosphere, so it's not difficult to spawn tornadoes. The good news is that a hurricane has probably never produced a tornado much stronger than an F1, only supercells can do that. Anyway, I just checked and I'm finally registered to vote. Hopefully you'll have a similar experience.
I checked yesterday and I am registered correctly. Last I checked before that I was still registered at the old address so it was taken care of. Early voting starts Monday and I'll vote as soon as my card arrives. The republican candidate from this story is being sued over this I think I heard today.
