Today, I saw someone in the comments section of Breitbart.com cite a satirical piece joking about how George Soros was funding Antifa, and they were dead serious. Satire is in an increasingly fragile place in American society.
A lot of people on the right thinks Soros is funding all leftist movements. BLM. Antifa. Feminists. It's all Soros, this evil leftist mastermind!!! Soros is pretty much a rally cry for the right sometimes.
And don't I know it, but knowledge and facts have never been systematically devalued by as large a sect of American society as what we're facing today. Apparently, the trait we're now selecting for is one's ability to whip other people up into a militarized frenzy. Pardon my despaired outlook. After all, I have been cruising Breitbart for some of today.
Yeah, recon sucks, but I learn some valuable new lessons on every cyber trek. Magnetospheric physics are comparatively boring, and probably a leftist conspiracy anyway
