I saw W. debut at the Austin Film Festival. James Cromwell was there. I love James Cromwell. He's awesome. But I'd just seen Oliver Stone's W. and I walked up to him and was like, "well, that was... interesting." It was lame on every level. Back and to the left. History often belongs not to the truth, but to the best narrative. I suspect Oliver Stone believes this deeply.
