To get an image on Hubski, a lot of people use [imgur](imgur.com) which should have an app on the app store (though I don't have an iphone myself). Installing that should let you "share" your photos to imgur, which you can then post the link to on Hubski! I hope that made sense, let me know if it didn't!
Thanks byonic and everyone else. The learning curve is steep, but I have a five-hour train ride tomorrow and if I don't kill any "trespassers" walking along the tracks or suiciders who park their trucks on the track waiting for the train to hit them (yes, I've been on a train when this happened), I'll have a chance to play with this.
