I am not sure what you mean. The U2 still flies. Poor forgotten Rudolf Anderson. The only casualty during the Cuban Missle Crisis, two years later.

Oops. I meant manned overflights of the Soviet Union. That's an important piece I didn't say. The A-12 flew a bunch of missions, just none over the USSR.
