Wow, I need to learn where to put that period to write a story I've been thinking up for a while, I don't want an entire page being one sentence, so can someone teach me, or if not, can you tell me of a website to help me out? I've already looked on several websites and despite them being somewhat helpful, still don't answer my question.
A period (or other punctuation) goes at the end of each sentence. You can look up the definition of a sentence to get a better concept of that. In your post, you can place a period (or question mark) after the words 'while', 'sentence', 'me', 'out' and 'websites'. Then you can eliminate a few connecting words if you choose.
So it's more complicated than you think, and there's a lot more to consider. That said, the gold standard is The Elements of Style by Strunk & White. I can guarantee it's available at your library, or here it is as a PDF. It's not entirely correct any longer - it's almost a hundred years old. But you will be far better off following that guide entirely than disregarding any aspect of it. By the time you know what's changed in 100 years, you will no longer need to ask questions such as yours. Good luck.
