Gawker are the sub-human scum that even Buzzfeed won't touch. Remember, this is the same company that published the list of every concealed carry and registered gun owner in NYC. This list included people who were being stalked, people hiding from violent family members, abusive Ex's and people hiding child sexual violence victims. Gawker outed a gay CEO Because, clickbait. I cannot find a link that does not track back to that sewer, but Denton is the guy on record stating that normal people do not have a right to privacy in the modern age, and that exposing their private lives liberates them. Ryan Holiday - who does PR for American Apparel and Tucker Max, mind you - blew maybe two chapters in Trust Me, I'm Lying on what a piece of shit Gawker Media is. I was actually linked to this by some weapons-grade snark from the spoiled children at Pando. They aren't wrong, but it's nice seeing the NYT slag on 'em.
I'm just reading through Trust Me, I'm Lying and haven't gotten to those chapters yet. Amazing book so far, I can't look online media the same again.
