I wish they would cut out the swagger every time they kill an Al Qaeda leader. There was a former CIA guy on NPR last night who made a great point about what if FDR had a press conference every time a Nazi lieutenant, captain or general was killed. It seems ridiculous. Fight the "war"--if that's what this is--and then get on with it when its over. We don't need to have this propaganda shoved down our throats every evening. I'm sick of it.

These announcements are well-timed...this just so happens to be an election year. Not that I'm siding with Pakistan or Taliban or Al Qaeda, but this "program" seems more like an assassination list they're working down. It's a bit sinister.
