Can you tell us what that is? The closest I can find is a William Stratford pocket watch.

Saw it at an exhibit at the Met in New York. I don't have more information about it, but looking at this article on the exhibit it seems to have a Delander movement and date around 1715-19.

Interesting, thanks! If I could have imagined that it was a pink diamond bearing (instead of the usual ruby), I might have come up with better search terms. The timepiece gets a few pages, starting on p. 142 in European Clocks and Watches in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which reveals that the case was manufactured by the company that would become Vacheron Constantin, the favorite of Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz.
