That's not cool. Sorry you experienced that but perhaps it is better to happen now than months from now. Still, if you otherwise like this girl, it might make sense to let her know why you aren't pursuing anything further.

Even before this incident, my feelings for this girl were going down as she had a tendency to be somewhat cold and distant. For the last couple of times we met up, she was the one asking me to hang out not me.
