It's funny, I think I have developed closer friendships online in the last 5 years than I have IRL. Though I have a few good, new friends. Most of my friends I've had for more than 5 years tho. I don't think it's any harder jow to make friends, except that myself and everyone else in my age group has WAY less time than we used to. It's all about time.

My closest friends are people I know and met in real life, but we interact far more electronically. I suppose it's easier to find time to maintain those relationships when the expectation is hours or days between interactions.
