I'm SCUM I'm 21 and I don't really have much going for me, but I'm interested, how are you always hungry when you have a tube sending food directly to your stomach? I always thought that hunger would be absent in that situation.

Hi SCUM! How are you? What's new in your life? What makes you tick/interesting/different?

Ah - you see my tubing doesn't go directly to my stomach. It goes to my intestines thus in effect, bypassing my stomach. Sorry, that wasn't clear. Usually, people on tubes aren't hungry but when it goes past the stomach then, yes they can be hungry all the time. It is a weird feeling to have and you sort of get used to it in effect.

That is really interesting, your body is nourished but your stomach still thinks that you need food.

I'm not sure there is anything interesting or different about me, I spend most of my time working and when i am not working I am going to university. If I am able to take a breath I try to play some video games.

Ya. It's weird/different. I always feel like I could eat but don't necessarily have to eat. It's like that feeling when you could have seconds or desert or something but you don't need to and would be fine otherwise.

Sounds like you have a pretty normal existence, how's school treating you? Any future life plans or just focusing on the here & now?
