Redheads are more sensitive to some kinds of pain and less sensitive to others. The explanation for these differences could be found in their genetic makeup.

I dated a redhead for close to 5 years. She was a pretty tough cookie but her skin was pretty sensitive to bug bites. We were picnicking once and she got close to 50 mosquito bites on her feet. It hurt so bad she wanted me to take her to the ER. I don't think she wasn't afraid to go in the sun, but she wore a lot of hats.

Perhaps, but so must being short, or being the sole minority in a school, or having freckles, wearing glasses at a young age, having braces, having a stutter, a lisp, a hair lip, being overweight etc. There are any number of physical attributes that can cause pain from the way others perceive them. But it's up to us to let that pain stick.

As long as we don't use that way of thinking to excuse our own cruelties.

I knew there was something sinister about them.
Sexy and sinister.
