I just realised that I've got a full day of uni tomorrow and then I'm going home for the weekend, so I can't promise anything. Sorry. However, I will try to get up earlier and fit it in.

No worries man, first things first. I may work on it tonight then.

I managed to attain a spare half hour, so I added some guitar parts. Lead guitar isn't my strongest point but I think it sounds decent enough. I tried to stay quite laid back and not be overbearing as it's quite a full mix already. I did attempt a little twiddle at the end though. Let me know if it's shit!

So, you thought your version was busy... check this out:

I don't want anyone to put anything on top of it. It's bad.

This song doesn't need more guitar, I think it needs synth etc.

I did put together a mix of yours and B_C's together that puts the bass more upfront than yours did. I think we should work off of that if we continue on this one.

I tried to turn your solo up, but it's hard to do without turning EVERYTHING up :)

I like it, it adds texture more than anything. I wouldn't even consider it "lead guitar" until the very end, possibly, but rather its more like some rhythm parts. I dig it. I would probably have it lower in the mix until the lead part in the end though. I like the main riff in the song and wouldn't want to drown that out. But I think your lead part at the end works really well. Is that an acoustic you're playing throughout?

I may play with the mix a bit, but the parts really work. I have a feeling that this may be a dense one when we're done with it. I envision adding vocals and synth.

Good work rezzeJ, thanks for adding to it!

Excellent, I'm glad you like it. It is an acoustic throughout, though on the chorus and solo I doubled it up and added an amp emulation to one. Just to give it a bit of crunch.

Do you want me to send you solo tracks so you can mix it how you like?
