Sometimes my injokes are so self-referential I don't expect anyone to get them. Long before Matt Groening came up with The Simpsons he had a strange little weekly comic called "Life in Hell." Some time around 1986 or so he ran a strip in which Bongo, the 1-eared juvenile bunny, decorates a wall with his own diapershit. He holds up a hand and says, not "et voila", but "vwa." I would love to illustrate this post with an accurate image demonstrating the quote's provenance. However, finding a strip from 1986 on the Internet based on words in that strip is nearly impossible. As such, I will finish with exactly the sort of humor that really had me going when I was 13.
