/r/movies doesn't seem to care, which kinda breaks my heart.
I am surprised that even though Night of the Living Dead is public domain there have been rare or even few projects who try to re-edit or modify and release it's contents. It seems like such a great piece to add to/use. I used to have a full script of several vignettes based on old Romero style zombie films set to the tracks of "Songs for the Deaf" from Queens of the Stone Age, I gotta find that somewhere. I am excited to watch this.
