Ha! Thank you for this! We are not those parents, but I see them all the time. There was a girl in my elementary school as a kid that had to leave the classroom at halloween during our celebration because it was a pagan holiday. She sat in the hallway, reading a book. The other day, on Facebook I saw her make the following post: "If any of you receive an email from someone named Ramon, asking you to send money to Guatemala to help me, write me immediately." -I have no idea how this relates to her upbringing, but somehow I feel like she was so sheltered growing up that she is now a target in adulthood of those that would take advantage of the inexperienced.
HA! Ah, Ramon! Was it me that shot him down in the cantina? Was it my hand that held the gun? It would take far too long to explain why I found that so funny, but I did.
