Why do you feel the need to quantify this?

I don't mean "stop asking the questions you're asking" but "what advantage is there to measuring it, metering it and otherwise comparison-shopping it?"

Wishful thinking.

I'm just tired of all those people who say 'yes' and mean 'yes, but only if this condition is fulfilled, I had 8 hours of sleep, it's exactly 68.5 degrees Fahrenheit with a northeast wind of 5 mph, and when you show me a flying pig'.

Hmmm.

See, this is not a problem I have. Generally the commitments I ask for, I get. This may be due to my not asking for commitments I know I have no chance of getting.

When you say "all those people" are we talking about anybody in particular? How many examples do you have?
