I paid full pop for a copy of Lightroom 2. You then offered me no upgrade path whatsoever for Lightroom 3. Rather than torrent it, which I totally could, I kept using Lightroom 2. It's a piece of shit, but it's less of a piece of shit than Aperture and beats the tar out of Bridge, and you already had my $200.
I've seen no compelling reasons to upgrade to Lightroom 3. But now you announce Lightroom 4 Beta, come and download it. Yay.
How the fuck did you manage to turn a simple image browser into a 943MB app? Yeah, I realize that you're used to chuckleheads on their Dell XPS workstations with their 2TB 5400RPM Hitachi DeathStars spinning erratically on their spindles, but some of us run SSD because, you know, we like to get shit done. A frickin' GIGABYTE for an image browser? Who the fuck do you think you are?
But whatever. You do, after all, use the word "magic" on your blog page without any irony whatsoever, so let's fire it up. Okay, great. Yes, that's my library. Yes, let's open it and see what happens.

Oh, I see. You don't support importing of previous libraries. At all.
So if I want to see how your "magic" gigabyte-wide image browser works, I can't do anything with the stuff I've done in your previous (80MB!!!!!!!!!) applications.
You know what? Eat shit. Eat shit on toast. I'm sure that if I have to use your software, I can find it cracked somewhere for nothing, but as my promise to you, I won't even go looking until, like Photoshop, it becomes an impediment to my workflow to not have to deal with your wretched, dysfunctional bloatware.
We'll talk about my $1500 CS4 Premium license that didn't even earn me a $200 discount on CS5 later, you brigands.
One thing that pisses me off endlessly is that every fucking update that comes at me like machine gun fire reinstalls the desktop shortcut. Where is the fucking decency? They know I don't want the shortcut. Do they really think they are going to trick me into keeping it? Fuckers that make decisions like that make me rage.
