I'd like to wear my tinfoil hat for a moment. Does anyone else feel a vice closing in on this country? We've been in freefall since 9/11. The poor are getting poorer and the people in power don't care. I think they're watching Ferguson, and all unrests like it, very carefully. Taking notes. Every year just cranking the screws a wee bit tighter. Not some grand conspiracy, just letting us fight amongst ourselves. What are we going to do about that?

As a people, I'm not convinced we'll do anything about that. But personally, I'm going to study political science (perhaps in college, perhaps independently) and do what I can to work for change within the system. Then when the revolution comes (as they always do) I'll welcome it with open arms.
