That's a beautiful concept. It's always such a cool feeling when you find a really nice park within a city. The juxtaposition of concrete boxes and sordid traffic to lush greenery is great, but it's always separate. A green space there, a housing space there, etc. This concepts merging of the two is certainly something I could get behind. I think this sort of adaption to our building planning methods is the way forward.

Right on. A scattering of interstitial spaces. Sounds good to me. I think a lot of North Americans have a difficult time with this housing typology. When they're paying for a house, they want every inch to be 'usable'. Max it all out. What they don't realize is that light is more valuable than space, and that a few simple moves - if properly detailed and well considered - is better than 20 roof lines and a rumpus room.
