Hunting around for some good browser-based games.
Kingdom of Loathing is one that I've played for years, but thinking about broadening my horizons.
Suggestions?
Oh I used to mess around with this a bunch a couple of years ago. Thanks for the nostalgia!
HelloRun queers in love at the end of the world Improbable Island If you like text/reading, most MUDs now have browser clients. The big one I used to play is Achaea. If you're too young to know, Multi User Dungeons are text-based MMOs, usually RPGs. It takes a bit to get immersed in one, but once you do, they can be quite addictive. Achaea's PvP system is unbelievably complex.
I love MUD's, unfortunately, where I get most of my gaming time in, here at work; they have too much security, and MUD clients won't ever actually connect.
TagPro perhaps? http://tagpro.koalabeast.com/ Multiplayer capture the flag that completely revolves around skill, map knowledge, and teamwork. Very simple and easy to learn but near impossible to master.
I love TP. Unfortunately, I can't connect to it at work.
If you're into Pokemon, there's an HTML5 browser port (I think it's Red or Blue) haven't looked too closely at it yet -
It's nice to see another KoL user. What are you called there? I'm augustiflickan.
