Sounds cool, I'm in. I don't actually know much about Madoka Magica, but a quick search makes me skeptical. This shall be interesting.
You are the perfect person to watch it then. I was skeptical as hell. I now consider it the absolute best anime ever made and among the top 5 shows I've ever seen. Mad props to eightbitsamurai. Don't research it any further. At all. Look up nothing more. Just watch the first three episodes on Netflix. And then know that it just gets more awesome from there.
