Detroit has a lot of potential for the future exactly because of this. If the right gathering of young minds happens there, it'd be awesome. I was just in the city and it reminded me of parts of my neighborhood growing up in the South Bronx.

I'm glad that someone can see opportunity and hope in a place like Detroit. Hopefully you're right. It also reminds me of other places I've been in the rust belt, some of which are starting to thrive again, and some places that are just decaying into dust.
