I too enjoy Radiolab. You probably already know about This American Life but if not, check it out. insomniasexx and I bonded over it when we first became internet pals. Also, I used to listen to Stuff You Should Know and it can be a lot of fun. I linked to the one on "How Bipolar Disorder Works."
OMG! You are in for such a treat! https://hubski.com/pub?id=20527 I like this recent one too: http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/513/129-cars Don't let the descriptions fool you. A lot of time, the description of the story isn't that attractive and doesn't pull me in. But literally every single episode will fill you with emotion and teach you something new.
That's exactly what I like so much about Radiolab. I often listened to them during my commute (similar length and podcasting on a train is an amazing combo), and some of their stories are so powerful or compelling that I almost forget to get off the train. Is there any chronological way, a certain episode I should start from? Or are they all unconnected. But literally every single episode will fill you with emotion and teach you something new.
They are all unconnected. Dive in anywhere and enjoy.
