There was a point in my life where I probably would have jumped at the opportunity to do this. It's a very exciting endeavor, to be out there on your own with no hope of ever coming back. I feel like the video was very depressing though. Even the cinematography and music played it up. It seems like they focused a lot on "leaving everything behind", which of course is very important. But it makes it seem like these people only want to go because they are depressed or lonely or introverted. Someone going to Mars shouldn't be so quick to do so because they feel like they can't stand people any more, they should do it because they care about exploration and research.
