Nice. A lot of the classrooms at my school use those. I have a similar (cheaper) model but I don't use them anymore. When my dog was just a pup she destroyed my room one day and the pads on those headphone were one of the casualties =(. I agree though, good sound especially for how affordable they are.

Wow, what school do you go to where they use these in classrooms? (If you don't mind my asking). I've seen 202s and 219s but never 280s or anything comparable. I'm also not at a school with a strong music/recording program though, so that plays a part.

That's horrible. You need to hide just about everything worth owning with small animals and babies around. Replacement pads aren't terribly expensive though, might be worth looking into.

Music major at an arts school in downtown Chicago. there's also a fair amount of headphones the school uses that i can't stand (shure srh240s are what i have to work with right now for my technology class).

I've thought about getting some replacement pads but i have two other pairs now that i like more than my senns - V moda m80s and Beyer dt770s. I'm planning on getting a pair of hifiman he400s this summer, too, so i have my headphone department covered =).

SAIC by any chance? I had a friend who went there. All I remember about it is the location and living facilities were incredible.

no, i don't know much about it but i have a couple friends that go there and they like it. I wonder where their living facilities would even be since they don't share with the other bigger schools in the loop. I go to Columbia College, to answer your question.

Posh downtown high-rises. Lofts. No idea how any of them pay for more than a semester or two*.
