Reposts are fine, the site will normally prompt you and let you know it's already been posted and you can decide whether it's a good idea or not. Sometimes it doesn't catch them for various reasons though. I've never once searched to see if something I'm posting is a repost. If it is, people are usually nice enough to let me know and provide a link to the original, especially if there is a conversation happening there. Mindwolf's been around for a while, I'm sure he wouldn't duplicate post for any bad reason.
How does the site informs you something has already been posted? I've just tried to repost to check and it didn't say anything. It does not really matter yet since it's a small community and there a few reposts (I do notice some from time to time) but if the community grows I can see it becoming a problem. I find it happens a lot more to newers users with fewer followers because the content is less likely to be shared and seen so the person reposting does not see the first submission.
