I can't even begin to tell you the things this song represents for me. It brings me back in a major way to a long hot summer and long drawn out love affair. You could call him the love of my life but I wouldn't. (i.e., data may point to that conclusion, but I refuse it.) It was the summer that song was everywhere. I love the song - I'm not one to consider songs tainted by association. Hell I have no hard feelings against the man, either.
