Don't you find it incredible that these things happen right as GOP primaries are occurring? If you've watched any of the debates, you will have noted that they talk a lot about Iran. In fact, it seems like the GOP finds Iran to be a bigger threat than the US economy. It would be incredibly convenient for them if the public thought Iran had nukes and the ability/desire to use them against the US. Just saying, there are republican strategist sitting somewhere wringing their grubby little hands with joy. "It's working, my precious"

Convenient yes. Still frightening, hell yes.

I was talking about the current campaign issues being discussed in the primaries. Neither of us could think of an example of the social issue that normally dominates these debates, healthcare reform. Maybe the Republicans just don't think its worth talking about.

Sorry about that my keyboard likes to randomly cut off parts of my text without notifying me. I meant to say that, a friend and I were talking about the current campaign issues...

They only seem interested in discussing how the other side is fucking things up. As far as putting forth actual ideas, they seem satisfied with the idea of repealing everything Obama has done, as if that's an "idea". Beyond that its all platitudes which is par for the course no matter which team you play for.

Iran is definitely scary, because Ahmadinejad seems completely nuts.

I like to call him almond joy, because unlike mounds he's nuts...plus it easier to pronounce.
