I'm not sure about the science as there isn't much presented here accept the abstract but I was willing to give the article a shot and then it ended with this:

and what about that stunner of a masculine face pictured above? Yes, he’s gay, and his name is Ronan Farrow
-Is this a joke? Ronan Farrow doesn't have a very masculine face.

It would be interesting to see the blending of 1000 gay male faces compared to the blending of 1000 straight ones.

I'm inclined to agree that it seems kind of bogus. I thought it was funny that this sort of research is happening though. I mostly wanted to hear what other people had to say about it, so thanks for commenting!

I live in an area with a very large number of gay residents, and I've certainly been mistaken numerous times about a man's sexuality when I tried to judge it based on his face or appearance!

Anyway, I'm sure there is a more appropriate tag for this article than "science," but I don't know what it would be.

Who knows, it could very well be that men with certain facial features are more likely to be gay, I just thought the article was odd. I've been thinking about our gay friends and it seems to me all there faces are pretty varied :)

It seems very similar to phrenology. It is interesting to read people's theories though.

Oh no! Well I'd hate to spread nonsense. Maybe I should have somehow prefaced the article or recommended reading with a grain of salt? I don't want to add crappy content!

Now now, I didn't read the study, just the abstract. I think that this is potentially interesting and perhaps opens up new avenues through which to explore what it is to be living, sexual beings and perhaps the important ways in which sexual orientations complement each other.
